MixEffect is a powerful tool designed for professional control of Blackmagic Design ATEM switchers using your iPhone or iPad. With its user-friendly interface, MixEffect provides quick and convenient access to all the necessary features for your video productions, including switcher control, macros, audio management, media handling, editing palettes, recording, and streaming. In addition to these essential functions, MixEffect offers advanced features such as animated SuperSource transitions, Video Follows Audio, customizable layouts, and Shortcuts support.

When it comes to pricing, MixEffect is available as a free download from the App Store. However, the free version has some limitations and only allows you to create new switcher connections and streaming service entries, control Program/Preview and Fader Bar, as well as run the ATEM Simulator. For an enhanced experience, you can try out MixEffect Pro on a 30-day trial basis. MixEffect Pro provides full switcher control, SuperSource capabilities, Video Follows Audio, organized macro functionality, streaming and recording options, editing palettes, custom layouts, and much more. The Pro version can be unlocked through a single In-App purchase, with no subscriptions, ads, or hidden fees.

 <li>SuperSource: Master the SuperSource functionality on your ATEM Mini Extreme and Mini Extreme ISO. Enjoy automatic animated transitions between SuperSource layouts, rearrange boxes with drag and drop, save favorite preset layouts, and share them with others.</li>
 <li>Audio Control: Manage audio on ATEM switchers by adjusting input gain, fader gain, frames delay, and pan settings for each audio source.</li>
 <li>Macros: Enhance your macros with icons, colors, filtering, and sorting. Choose from three display layouts (Grid, Buttons, and List) and access all your macros from the virtual switcher interface.</li>
 <li>Media: Upload still images from your Photo Library to your switcher's Media Pool.</li>
 <li>Transitions: Access all supported transitions (e.g., Mix, Dip, Wipe, and DVE) on your switcher, not just the ones mapped to hardware buttons.</li>
 <li>Downstream Keyers: Find the DSK On Air button you are missing on the ATEM Mini in MixEffect.</li>
 <li>Upstream Keyers: Adjust Luma, Chroma, Pattern, and DVE settings for your upstream keyers. With touch controls, easily set the chroma sample and change the position of your DVE frame.</li>
 <li>Automations: Control your ATEM switcher using voice commands and Shortcuts. Automate input switching, SuperSource layout changes, and macro execution based on audio levels. Enjoy extensive keyboard shortcuts throughout the app.</li>
 <li>Color Generators: Change color sources without the need to navigate through palettes.</li>
 <li>HyperDeck Control: Take control of up to four HyperDecks directly from MixEffect.</li>
 <li>AUX: Set the sources for all your auxiliary outputs.</li>
 <li>Streaming: Easily add streaming services, servers, and profiles without XML knowledge. Set default profiles and servers for each streaming service and import/export Streaming.xml files supported by ATEM Mini Pro, Pro ISO, Mini Extreme, and Mini Extreme ISO switchers.</li>
 <li>Recording: Manage disk recordings directly from your iPhone or iPad. Switch between disks with a tap and check the available recording time.</li>
 <li>Security: Ensure unwanted access to MixEffect with Face ID (or device passcode lock) and activate View Only Mode to restrict changes while allowing others to monitor the switcher.</li>
 <li>Switcher Settings: Configure your switcher's video mode, change source labels, set up Multiview, and save startup settings for your switcher.</li>
 <li>Simulator: MixEffect includes a simulated ATEM 1 M/E Production 4K switcher for testing purposes.</li>
